Amid the growing threat of coronavirus in China, Furman University has canceled its three-week May Experience course there as well as another study away course during the summer. A fall study abroad course to China is still on the books, but is pending further review by the university. FOX Carolina reported on the developing story. The news organization reached out to Furman’s Nancy Georgiev, director of Rinker Center for Study Away and International Education.
