A forecast of snow and ice closed Furman’s campus at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. Classes weren’t scheduled to start until the following Monday, and students were still moving onto campus after the winter break. Of those who were already moved in, some got out and enjoyed the winter weather. The actual snow accumulation was less than forecast, but students made the best of it. Furman multimedia content creators Nathan Gray and Owen Withycombe were also there capturing moments that will surely become lasting memories. Here are a few of their photos.
