Four Furman University finalists in the 4th Annual Paladin Pitch Competition squared off “Shark Tank” style on Thursday for $10,000 in prize money. Ahead of the competition, FOX Carolina‘s Zach Prelutsky spoke to Bryan Davis, executive director of The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Prelutsky also spoke to last year’s winner, Alexa Valdovinos ’25, and this year’s winning team, Furman’s Spencer Tate ’24 and Nemath Ahmed of Georgia Tech, co-founders of dotflo, a data analytics platform. The two won the inaugural Johnny Flynn Paladin Pitch Award.
