Shi Institute’s Sustainability Summit gains media attention

Alongside the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament, The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman University, in partnership with Sustain SC and Piedmont Natural Gas, presented its third Sustainability Summit, which took place Friday, June 9, at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The sold-out meeting included panelists from Furman, Milliken & Company, and BMW Manufacturing, with the purpose of helping Upstate enterprises understand sustainable business practices.
