Meg Salt ’26, a Furman University English major from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, served as a summer editorial assistant for Integrated Media Publishing, producer of Greenville Business Magazine and others. In an article she contributed to the magazine, Salt reflected on the value of spending time in her college hometown and the opportunities to invest in friendships while exploring what Greenville has to offer – baseball, good food and jazz, among other attractions.
Salt, who secured the editorial post through a Malone Center for Career Engagement fellowship, will embark on another journalism internship in Edinburgh, Scotland, this fall.
