Furman University’s SCALE (South Carolina Afterschool Leaders Empowered), a program of The Riley Insitute in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education, earned airtime on WYFF News 4. The SCALE fellowship, which recently named its newest cohort of 22 fellows, is a 10-month program that empowers afterschoool and summer learning leaders with research-based practices. SCALE Director Amy Keely said fellows represent at least 31 different school districts across the state.
