Post Election: The Economic Outlook

Following the presidential election, the three major stock indices climbed to all-time highs. But while the Nasdaq, S&P 500 and Dow are good indicators of stock market health, they are just one part of the economic landscape, according to Furman University economics professor Kailash Khandke. In an article he penned for Greenville Business Magazine (page 8), Khandke explores whether early consumer and investor confidence translates to significant job creation, sustained economic growth, and lower levels of inflation over the near term.
