Philanthropy publications report $25 million grants from The Duke Endowment

Philanthropy News Digest and The Chronicle of Philanthropy report on the latest grants from The Duke Endowment totaling $75 million in support of longtime grantees Davidson College, Furman University and Johnson C. Smith University. The announcement follows the November 2023 news of The Duke Endowment’s grant of $100 million to Duke University. The grants are part of the foundation’s centennial celebration of its founding by James B. Duke, who created the endowment.
