New York Times spotlights notable commencement speakers, including Furman’s
In an article appearing in The New York Times, correspondent Mitch Smith rounds up notable commencement speakers across the nation including entertainers, politicians, athletes, executives and more. Furman University alumna and Apple Vice President Kristin Huguet Quayle ’99 will headline Furman’s graduation ceremony May 10 in Paladin Stadium. Quayle, Apple’s chief global communications officer, joins the likes of other high-profile speakers such as President Donald Trump, Al Roker of NBC’s “Today,” Google VP and Chief Diversity Officer Melonie Parker, former Yankee Derek Jeter, Snoop Dogg and Kermit the Frog.
