Nelsen appears on Sky News, discusses tariffs, Gaza Strip and Ishiba’s visit

Furman University’s Brent Nelsen appeared on Sky News Australia over the weekend to discuss the importance of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba’s visit to the United States, President Trump’s plans for the Gaza Strip and tariffs. Nelsen, the Jane Fishburne Hipp Professor of Politics and International Affairs, suggested that Trump’s declarations and plans may serve to bring new ideas and people to the bargaining table.
