Moffett speaks to local news about solar eclipse

In a WYFF News 4 report about the upcoming solar eclipse and the danger it potentially poses, Furman University’s David Moffett is quoted. Moffett, professor and chair of the physics department, explains some of the characteristics of the April 8 partial eclipse. He’ll travel to Dallas to view and capture photos of the eclipse in totality as part of his ongoing research.
