Local TV station covers FurmanWIN panel

Emmy-winning broadcast journalist Judy Woodruff spoke in a panel discussion hosted by FurmanWIN on Wednesday. The Furman Women’s Impact Network event was hosted by Furman President Elizabeth Davis and Minor Shaw, national chairwoman of FurmanWIN. Furman’s Cynthia King, professor of communication studies and associate dean of diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence, and Danielle Vinson, professor of politics and international affairs, joined the conversation. FOX Carolina covered the panel held in McAlister Auditorium and spoke with Woodruff, a founding co-chair of the International Women’s Media Foundation, an organization that promotes and encourages women in communication industries worldwide.
