Former South Carolina Supreme Court Justice Kaye Hearn was the featured speaker of an all-student-led panel hosted by The Riley Institute at Furman University. FOX Carolina covered the event, “A Woman’s Place,” which was moderated by Furman’s Teresa Nesbitt Cosby, a professor of politics and international affairs and an attorney, and Glen Halva-Neubauer, the Dana Professor and Chair of Politics and International Affairs. Hearn, who served 2009-2023, was the second woman in history to serve on the state’s High Court.
