Local news covers cleanup at Furman U.

As Furman University’s campus prepares to open Saturday, Oct. 5, with classes resuming Monday, Oct. 7, FOX Carolina came to campus to survey cleanup efforts. The news team captured some of the damage caused by fallen trees and spoke to student-athlete Luke McLaughlin of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, about what he saw after Tropical Storm Helene came through. McLaughlin, a redshirt junior for the Furman Paladins, is an English major minoring in film studies. He is also on the pre-health track at the university.
