Furman Paladins win first outright SoCon championship since 1990

The Furman University Paladins met Virginia Military Institute on the gridiron Saturday, Nov. 11 and came away with a 37-3 victory and their first outright SoCon championship since 1990. Local media outlets covered the news including WYFF News 4 on its Saturday night broadcast and Sunday at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., and 7 a.m. FOX Carolina also covered the news. The Paladins will face Wofford in the final regular season matchup Saturday, Nov. 18, at noon in Gibbs Stadium, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
