Furman’s first mariachi band featured on local news station and beyond

Furman’s first mariachi band on campus caught the attention of Carlos Cristian Flores, a reporter at WYFF News 4. He spoke to the band’s organizer Sahid Palacios ’25, a music performance major from Texas. He and other members of the band gave Flores a sample of their Mexico-inspired music.
