300 volunteers packaged 30,000 meals for a country in need.
Furman Athletics teamed with the university’s Heller Service Corps and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes last week to volunteer for Rise Against Hunger – a global movement to end world hunger. About 300 volunteers came together to assemble 30,000 meals to be distributed to a country in need. FOX Carolina covered what’s becoming an annual tradition on campus and spoke to Furman senior football player DJ Durham, a health sciences major from Franklin, Tennessee.
