Singer-songwriter Amy Grant attended Furman University for a short time before launching a stellar career in the music business. She enrolled in 1978, the same year she performed in her first ticketed concert event. The six-time Grammy Award winner and “Queen of Christian Pop” now finds herself embroiled in a property dispute in Nashville. Her great-grandfather’s church was allegedly subjected to steeple-jacking, a takeover by external groups or organizations. Her story, written by Cameron McWhirter, was published in The Wall Street Journal and is available through MSN.
