Twenty-one semi-autobiographical paintings, drawings and prints by Virginia-based artist Nicole M. Santiago are on display in Thompson Gallery of the Roe Art Building through Oct.20. Thompson Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“Passages” is an exploration of how mundane moments of everyday domestic life also function as moments of psychological passage – ritualistic crossings, traversals, and transformations – common to all narratives in human experience. The closing reception, part of Furman’s Cultural Life Program, is set for Friday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. in Thompson Gallery.
