Music Department presents guest artist lecture, recital ft. Sonya Baker, soprano

The Furman University Department of Music will present a guest artist lecture and recital featuring soprano Sonya Baker Monday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall. Her presentation, “For Thee We Sing: The Historical Implications of Marian Anderson’s 1939 Easter Concert,” is free and open to the public. Baker is professor of voice at James Madison University.
