Florida State Percussion Ensemble in concert

The Florida State Percussion Ensemble, directed by Furman alumnus John Parks ’93, has been named a winner of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) International Percussion Ensemble Competition. The ensemble is touring its show on the way to the PASIC convention and will be stopping at Furman to perform a concert on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall. A piece by Furman’s Omar Carmenates, professor of percussion, will be among the selections performed.
