Greenville Business Magazine reached out to selected city leaders for their take on the future of Greenville, the city’s biggest challenge and the city’s best asset. Furman University President Elizabeth Davis weighed in. She took the opportunity to highlight Furman’s four institutes and what they bring to the community – The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, The Riley Institute, The Institute for the Advancement of Community Health, and The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities. “These epicenters of expertise, where students, faculty and staff conduct research and perform community outreach and service, will join with Greenville to address the most pressing and important issues affecting our community and beyond,” she said.
