Following the Department of Justice’s latest release of documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier and convicted sex offender who died in 2019, many high-profile names emerged including thousands of mentions of Donald Trump and his Mar-a-Lago resort. None, so far, have spelled political disaster for the U.S. president. The Telegraph (via MSN) turned to Furman University Politics and International Affairs Professor Danielle Vinson for comment. She said, “This time, Trump has emerged mostly unscathed, the people who thought he was involved turned against him long ago and those that support him have proved very adept at finding ways to excuse, rationalize and justify his behavior.”
