Curtis steps in as head coach of Furman Women’s Basketball

Several media outlets reported news about Pierre Curtis stepping in as head coach for Furman Women’s Basketball after longtime coach and alumna (2000) Jackie Carson was named ACC senior associate commissioner for women’s basketball. Curtis has coached at Furman for the last decade, most recently serving as associate head coach under Carson. At a press conference, he said, “When you accomplish something that you’ve wanted for so long and to do it at a place that you really, really love being at, it’s special.” WYFF News 4 covered the news on air and on its website.
