    On Saturday, 529 students graduated from Furman University; 491 of them participated in commencement ceremonies held in McAlister Auditorium because of rain. Skies were soggy but spirits weren’t dampened, as undergraduate and graduate degrees were conferred and awards were bestowed on students and faculty.
