Video: Bringing back the cheer

Furman President Rod Smolla reinstated the “FU 1 time!” cheer during the Paladins’ home-game opener Saturday against Presbyterian College.  The cheer was made popular by the late John E. Johns who served as president 1976-94.  Dwight Covington, ticket sales coordinator and unofficial videographer for the athletic department, was there to capture the action and has posted this video.
