Furman University junior Audrey Enghauser, career ambassador at the Malone Center for Career Engagement, and Jennifer Stoner, assistant director of employer engagement, were featured on WSPA News7 (CBS) in a story about job scammers. Diane Lee, consumer anchor with the station, looked at how fake employers on social platforms are increasingly using AI to make job offers appear legitimate when they are often disguised attempts to steal personal and financial information especially from those near graduation or newly graduated. Stoner offered ways to avoid bad actors while Enghauser shared her experiences as a job seeker.
