Area news outlets cover Furman’s bicentennial celebration

Local news outlets brought crews to Furman University’s Bicentennial Convocation Thursday, Feb. 12., in a ceremony that convened Furman leadership, past presidents, distinguished guests and friends, and students, faculty and staff. FOX Carolina covered the event during its 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. broadcasts, while WYFF News 4 covered Furman’s time capsule reveal at the James B. Duke Library. Columbia station WIS News 10 also aired a clip of the convocation.
