Podcaster, speaker, author and Christian conservative Allie Beth Stuckey joined Ross Douthat on “Interesting Times,” a podcast of The New York Times. Stuckey, a 2014 Furman University alumna, spoke about her background, her role as an influencer in the podcast space, and how empathy can become toxic – the subject of her latest book, “Toxic Empathy: How Progressives Exploit Christian Compassion.” Among other topics in the hourlong program, Stuckey weighed in on culture war issues such as abortion, gender, sexuality and immigration from a biblical worldview.
A communications studies graduate, Stuckey is host of the podcast “Relatable” and author of “You’re Not Enough (And That’s Okay).”
