Alexis Thomas featured on Duke Divinity School website
Alexis Carter Thomas, associate chaplain, Furman University Office of Spiritual Life.
Furman University Associate Chaplain Alexis Carter Thomas was featured on the Duke Divinity School website. In a section titled “What Can You Do with a Duke Divinity Degree?” the school laid out various occupations graduates can pursue including the chaplaincy. Thomas, an ordained minister and ministry consultant, holds a Master of Divinity degree from Duke, and a Doctor of Ministry degree with a concentration in women’s religious leadership from Drew University Theological School. She said, “I am passionate about cultivating spaces and practices that empower emerging adults to be intentional and energized about spiritual formation.”
