A Coloradan is impressed with Greenville, S.C.

Sarah Kuta of The Denver Post made an extended business trip to Greenville, South Carolina, and was pleasantly surprised, finding a town that reminded her of cities along Colorado’s Front Range. She commented on Greenville’s diversity, its small-town charm with big-city amenities, and noted places to eat, play and stay. During her brief time in Greenville, home of Furman University, she covered a lot of ground including Falls Park, Liberty Bridge, Unity Park, the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail, Furman’s bell tower, the famed Medusa tree near Furman’s original site downtown, and a litany of restaurants and watering holes – ones familiar and lesser-known.
