Furman grad Steven Weeks is “Unsung Hero”

Steven Weeks’ success at helping students stay in school until graduation has earned him recognition by Communities in Schools, a national drop-out prevention organization, as one of its five “Unsung Heroes.” Weeks, who graduated in 2008 with majors in philosophy and religion, serves as the Communities in Schools site coordinator at Greer Middle School. The Greenville News reported on Weeks and his work helping students stay in school.
