Several news sources cover Furman University’s road to the NCAA College Cup in the university’s first trip to the final four in program history. The Greenville News’ Kamryn Jackson spoke with Head Coach Doug Allison following Furman Men’s Soccer victory over No. 8 seed Portland. A flurry of news outlets came to campus as the team boarded a bus to Cary, North Carolina, where the Paladins will face the University of Washington Friday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. before a sold-out crowd. Furman communication studies graduate Ella Grogan ’25 was one of the reporters who showed up for the send-off. She filed a story for FOX Carolina News‘ Palmetto Sports.
