In 2026, Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace may make a run for the South Carolina governor’s seat, which will be vacated by term-limited Gov. Henry McMaster. She said the congresswoman would have to win a significant share of the vote in Greenville County to prevail in the primary. A subscription may be required to view the content.
