Kids who move more learn more
The results are in: kids who move more learn more, and that’s exactly what Greenville startup ActivEd, Inc. aims to help with. ActivEd is an educational software company aimed at giving teachers interactive lessons that incorporate movement into learning for pre-K through second-grade students. The company’s co-founder is Dr. Julian Reed, an associate professor of health and exercise at Furman who began developing movement-related lessons and workshops in the classroom over a decade ago. GSA Business wrote about Reed’s project.
