“Spelling Bee” is critical success

The Greenville News gave a glowing review to the Furman Theatre’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”   According to arts writer Paul Hyde, professor Maegan Azar’s staging of the play was “endearingly sweet and genial,” and everybody involved in the production was a winner, including the audience.
