A group of high school teachers who are currently in Washington, D.C., as part of the Riley Institute’s Teachers of Government summer program were chosen to say “Good Morning” as part of the MSNBC show, “The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd,” on July 24. The Riley program participants spend a week in Washington, D.C. where they meet with government officials, politicians, non-governmental activists and members of education policy-making agencies. Coordinated by Furman political science professor Liz Smith, the program take places each summer and is free of charge for the accepted teachers.
