IACH Announces Its 2025-2026 Calendar of Community Events

The Institute for the Advancement of Community Health is pleased to announce its 2025–2026 calendar of public events, including the return of the popular Community Health Conversations series and the annual Building Brighter Tomorrows conference.

Now in its second year, Community Health Conversations provides a platform for dialogue around pressing health issues facing our community. Hosted at the Crescent Innovation District on Poinsett Highway, these free evening events bring together community members, local leaders, health experts and university faculty, for meaningful discussion and collaboration. Light refreshments will be served.

This year’s topics include:

• September 23, 2025 – Economic Mobility as a Driver of Health

• November 11, 2025 – Housing is Healthcare

Following the success of last year’s inaugural series, we look forward to another season of engaging conversations that inspire action and deepen community understanding.

We will also once again partner with the Institute for Child Success to host the 2026 Building Brighter Tomorrows Annual Conference on April 16, 2026, at the Younts Conference Center at Furman University. This event will feature the Desmond P. Kelly Keynote Address and bring together professionals, researchers, and community advocates for a day of learning and connection.
