Furman’s Next Big Idea is a biannual competitive innovation challenge designed to empower students to tackle real-world problems with sustainable solutions. This event fosters collaboration between students, academic departments, and industry partners, providing an experiential learning opportunity to address pressing issues across various disciplines. With a focus on conceptualizing innovative solutions rather than fully developed business ventures, students will brainstorm, design, and present practical solutions to broad problem areas presented by partners.
