With the generous sponsorship of the Furman Humanities Center, this event will feature Laura Soffiantini, PhD Candidate in Cultural Studies and Digital Humanities at KU Leuven (Belgium), as facilitator for an open-to-all conversation on Digital Humanities and its applications. We will discuss the suggested reading and talk about some of the tools, key concepts and techniques for the digital study of texts.

Laura Soffiantini is a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies and Digital Humanities at KU Leuven (Belgium). Her research explores the geographical description of Greece in Pliny the Elder’s Natural History, combining classical scholarship with computational methodologies.
