Remote Learning and Digital Collaboration Workshop

Many of us are following with concern the news of the proliferation of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its global impact.  In our interconnected world, institutions of learning are not immune to impacts from any number of international challenges and disruptions. To prepare locally, please join us remotely (from your office, home, conference hotel) for a digital workshop on remote learning and collaboration via Zoom. You need not have a Zoom account of your own to participate.

Workshop participants will:

  1. Explore the learning functionality of Zoom, Moodle, and other easy-to-use remote technologies.
  2. Practice strategies for participation in and leading small group discussions, chats, and the use of a virtual “white board” to capture notes in real time.
  3. Consider methods for assessing remote learning activities and providing feedback.
