Recovery Zone Training

Recovery Zone workshops, similar to Safe Zone workshops, help faculty and academic staff become more knowledgeable about the complexities students struggling with alcoholism and addiction are navigating during the undergraduate years. For many young people, demanding academic and social pressures may have contributed to their initial addictions, so the brisk pace of life as a Furman student poses additional difficulties for maintaining recovery. This interactive workshop will empower colleagues with evidence-based strategies to support students in recovery.
