The FDC launched our successful peer coaching workshops in January 2023 and our most frequent feedback from participants is “we want more”! In this peer coaching refresher workshop faculty and staff colleagues can refresh their peer coaching skills while also considering ways to level up their coaching practice. Participants will: 

  • Identify the signal differences between teaching, mentoring, and coaching 
  • Cultivate supportive interactions built on trust 
  • Strengthen active, empathetic listening skills 
  • Refresh and refine your ability to draw out potential in peers and colleagues 
  • Practice strategies for holding space for colleagues and resisting leaning into your own agenda in coaching-informed conversations
