Everything is Tuberculosis Reading Circle

Join Min-Ken Liao and Meghan Slining for a five-week interdisciplinary book club discussing John Greene’s Everything is Tuberculosis. This short, accessible book offers insights the history and persistence of one of our deadliest infectious diseases. Learn more about the book at https://everythingistb.com/

 

As a microbiologist and epidemiologist, Min-Ken and Meghan are excited to explore these themes across disciplines. Folks from all disciplines are welcome. Whether your training is in the sciences, humanities, social sciences, or the arts, this book offers rich opportunities for cross-disciplinary dialogue about disease, society, and public health.

 

When: Thursdays, January 29 – February 26, 3:30–4:45 PM
Where: LIB 041

 

Space is limited to 20 faculty and academic staff participants. We’ll provide a complimentary copy of the book to those who can join us for at least 4 of the 5 discussions—available while supplies last.

 

Please register by January 6th so we can plan accordingly.
