The AI in Action workshop series is designed to help faculty and academic staff explore and integrate generative AI into their teaching, research, and professional workflows. These interactive, hands-on sessions allow participants to test new AI tools and discuss real-world use cases.

In this session, Chris Alvin teaches us how and why to build “skills” within BoodleBox. A skill lets you encode your own voice, standards, and habits into a reusable file, similar to a Preferences setting, so any bot applies them without you re-explaining each time. This customization is what actually reduces repetitive prompting; skills work because they capture how you write and think, not just what task you want done.

Please bring a laptop so you can fully participate. You may choose to attend one session in the series or several (each session is unique, not cumulative).
