What is your favorite Engaged Living memory?healthcare today spotlight photo

My hall was always super close, but I really loved how open everyone was with their passions. One night we had several of the EL halls together complete with a girl painting and another playing the cello! It was always such a dynamic way to live because you never knew what people would be up to.

Why did you apply to Engaged Living?

I applied for EL because I wanted to be surrounded by people that especially loved learning and wanted to live with people that had varied interests. I really appreciated not only the FYW that I got to be a part of, but also learning what everyone else got to experience, too!

How did Engaged Living make an impact on your Furman experience?

Our hall has been close-knit since our freshman year, so I have always adored seeing how our hallmates have stayed connected despite flourishing elsewhere. It also had me fall in love with the Lakeside living experience, and I am happy to say I had stayed there for all four years!!
