When you think of iconic locations on Furman’s campus, what places come to mind?  Perhaps the Bell Tower?  What about the Asian Garden and the Place of Peace?  How about the library and the adjacent Joseph Vaughn Plaza?  While these are well-known places, there are others that may not be as evident.  Did you know that there is a walking labyrinth? A rock garden? An old stone bridge?  Even if you do know that these things are there, have you stopped to think much about them?

The Cothran Center has launched a project that gives us all an opportunity to look at campus with fresh eyes.  Our “Campus Reflective Walk” includes information and reflections on nine different places on campus.  We asked several members of the Furman community to write and record reflective pieces about these places, and these contributors include alumni, faculty, and staff (current and retired).
