Foundations of Leadership | Online Discussion

Join two of the Center’s team members with Caroline Owen, Program Manager, and John Petersen, Director of Partnerships, in a casual online discussion to learn about our signature course, Foundations of Leadership. This course was created to address the unique and specific needs that new leaders, supervisors, front-line managers all face regardless of whether they are being promoted to join a new team, or being promoted from within a team, or joining a new department or organization.

• Defining what leadership is–and what that looks like for you
• Recognizing your Social Identity and understanding the different facets of your given, chosen, and core identities.
• With this foundation you address your own leadership brand and reputation, and what that looks like across the organization.
• An integral skill is communicating effectively. We’ll look at the tools and strategies provided for giving and receiving feedback effectively, and hearing and being heard.
