If you think all the world’s a stage, the theatre arts department at Furman University will help you expand the depth and breadth of your creative process.

Furman University Theatre transforms theatre students into theatre artists by approaching our art form through a liberal arts lens where students are cross trained in every aspect of the industry creating multi-hyphenate theatre practitioners who can adapt, lead, and collaborate in a globalized world. That means you won’t just study acting, design, or technical production. You’ll study it all.
