Our department offers several noteworthy, unique programs during the academic year, in addition to a special Maymester program. We believe in exposing our students to a variety of ideas, fields, and contemporary research topics.
One of our most notable programs is Math & the Mouse, a May Experience that takes place in Disney World.
The course is project-driven. Students complete major group projects, give presentations, and pursue their own interests during the three week course. Students must have completed MTH-141, 145, 150, or an equivalent in order to apply. In order to learn more, reach out to Dr. Bouzarth, Dr. Harris, or Dr. Hutson.

The tournament is a one-day event meant to inspire students to study mathematics. High school students who are passionate about mathematics should register. Registration is free! Participants only need to pay for lunch and transportation.
The deadline to register for this year’s competition is March 4th, 2022. Due to rising COVID-19 rates, this year the tournament will not be held in person.
